With over 30 years working in fashion, events, mentoring, tourism and hospitality—and over 20 years’ writing experience including as a fashion columnist—Jacinta is an expert in all things style and lifestyle.

As a fashion consultant, and the creative director and founder of the Sunshine Coast International Fashion Festival over 11.5 years, Jacinta Richmond has worked with fashion brands all around the globe, including Ali Charisma, Myer, Thang de Hoo and Nicola Finetti – even Australia Zoo!

​

Jacinta is also the founder of Off the Rack (a designer market), Another Woman’s Closet (a preloved clothing market), Frocks in the Vines, the Sunshine Coast Style Awards, the Sunshine Coast Design Awards , the Sunshine Coast Fashion Industry Association and Designers on Tour.

In a previous life she also managed Melbourne’s top nightclubs in the 1990’s – Chasers, The Mansion, The Down Under Rock Café and The Palace while founding live band venue The Fox & Hounds Hotel.

Let’s not forget a stint as Operations Manager for the luxury Fijian resort, Turtle Island and Turtle Airways and a stint in the Arts, with the Australian Ballet School, before moving on to establish a limited edition luggage brand, Coconut and becoming a published author.

As well as being a fashion mentor, stylist and consultant, she’s also an experienced events speaker. With her diverse expertise and business acumen, she can share her story to inspire, championing real action.
